Job Description
Pay Range: $25.00 per hour
FTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week) Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-6:00PM OR Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM. Applicant can choose.

TITLE: AID AND ASSIST PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST
REPORTS TO: EVOLVE PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
DEPARTMENT: EVOLVE Peer Delivered Services – Clackamas County
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides holistic, person-centered, trauma informed and strength-based support to individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring addiction challenges, involved in the Criminal Justice System. Support may begin at any point from initial contact with law enforcement, incarceration, inpatient treatment program, hospitalization (including Oregon State Hospital), or court involvement to getting reestablished with home and community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications for position: Identifies as having lived experience of mental health challenges, the criminal justice system and addiction recovery; has received an Oregon Health Authority (OHA) approved Peer Support Specialist Training and Certified Recovery Mentor (CPM) training and is certified in Oregon as a Peer Support Specialist and CRM or able to within 3 months of hire.
