About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Assistant Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our residential program, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care and support.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the residential program, including managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.

- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide the highest level of care to our residents.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress and ensure that all documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations.

- Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to provide additional resources and support to our residents.

- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the residential program.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a residential program management role.
  • Valid Oregon Driver's License.
  • CPR certified.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with residents, staff, and community partners.
  • Knowledge of regulations and policies related to residential programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents.
  • Successful completion of Tier 2 CPS training (within 6 months of hire).
  • Demonstrate competence in providing trauma-informed care practices with clients and team members. 
  • Successful completion of supervisor/leadership training through an outside agency. 
  • Ability to work in occasionally high-pressure, high-stress, and physical environments. Position may experience verbal and /or physical aggression from the client population.
  • Computer literacy, organization, and solid writing and editing skills are essential.
  • Independent problem-solving skills and be willing to seek assistance and guidance when needed.
  • A high level of accuracy, organization, and detail orientation is required.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.

Salary: 58,240 annually

PHYSICAL JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Typical Working Conditions: This position works in a residential facility environment. 

Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Telephone system, computer, copier/printer/binding equipment, agency vehicle.
